What this policy covers

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) governs your use of Cantari, operated by KDigital LLC (doing business as Cantari). It applies to everyone who uses Cantari to generate or share AI audio, including text-to-speech, AI sound and music, audiobook narration, dubbing and translation, and audio you upload for transcription. It also governs everything you post to the public community, including shared clips, their scripts, and discussion threads and replies.

This AUP supplements our Terms of use and is incorporated into them; capitalized terms used and not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms. Cantari is available only to US residents who are 18 or older. By using Cantari, you agree to follow this AUP.

Voice cloning is not currently available on Cantari. When voice cloning becomes available, it will be subject to additional terms, and you will be required to confirm that the voice you clone is your own or that you have the explicit consent of the voice owner.

Prohibited content and conduct

You are responsible for everything you generate, upload, and share. The rules below apply to the scripts you write, the audio you upload for transcription or dubbing, the manuscripts you narrate, the prompts you use to generate music, and anything you publish to the community. You must not use Cantari to do any of the following.

  • No deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading audio. Do not create or distribute audio intended to deceive, including scams, fake or unauthorized endorsements, voice phishing, fraudulent bank, government, or support calls, or synthetic speech passed off as a live human to obtain money, credentials, or other things of value.
  • No deceptive deepfakes. Do not create or share audio designed to make people believe a real person said or did something they did not, where the intent is to deceive.
  • No illegal content. Do not generate, upload, or share content that is unlawful or that facilitates illegal activity, including defamation, incitement, threats, or unlawful invasions of privacy.

Do not generate, upload, or share such content under any circumstances. Do not create or share sexual content depicting any real person without that person’s consent.
  • No intellectual property infringement. Only submit content you have the rights to use. Do not upload, transcribe, dub, narrate, or generate from copyrighted recordings, books, lyrics, scripts, or other works, or trademarks, that you do not own or have permission to use, and do not reproduce a recognizable copyrighted song or a real artist’s protected work.
  • No unlawfully recorded or obtained audio. When you upload audio for transcription or dubbing, you confirm you have the rights and any consent required to process it. Do not upload recordings made without the consent required by law, or that contain other people’s confidential or personal information you have no right to share.
  • No spam, bulk abuse, or platform manipulation. Do not post spam, run bulk or automated abuse, manipulate likes, views, or other counters, create fake or duplicate accounts, or otherwise game community features.
