How it will work.
Step 1: Provide a sample
You will record or upload a clip up to two minutes long. About 10 to 20 seconds of clean, single-speaker audio is the sweet spot, with the consent of whoever is speaking.
Step 2: Build the voice
Sonic will learn the voice in about a minute and save it to your account as a custom voice.
Step 3: Generate with it
You will use your cloned voice anywhere you would pick a stock voice, across every script you write.
What Voice Cloning gives you.
A voice that is yours
Turn a sample into a reusable custom voice, instead of picking from a fixed roster every time.
Consistent across projects
Once built, the same voice will carry from one generation to the next, so your sound stays recognizable.
Consent first
Cloning will run on voices you have the right to use: your own, or a speaker who gave you permission. The attestation is required, not optional.
What will power it.
Voice Cloning is not generating yet, and we will not fake it.
Voice Cloning is coming soon. When it lands you will record or upload a clip (about 10 to 20 seconds of clean audio is the sweet spot; max two minutes) and Sonic will build a custom voice from it, ready to speak your scripts in the studio. English will be the tested path first. Every clone will require a consent attestation, and the voices you create will stay yours.
