Voices by accent

British AI voices, documented and ready to hear.

Our engine registry records exactly three British reads: Imogen and Alfie on Zonos, and Emma on Kokoro. Each card below carries the voice's registered character line, a portrait, and a preview clip that is real engine output, recorded unedited.

That number is small on purpose. A voice appears on this page only when its registry entry documents the accent, so what you audition here is what the engine actually ships, not a label we guessed from a name.

The roster

Every british ai voice on file.

Emma · UK portrait
Emma · UKKokoro

Soft British female · plain read

The soft British female on Kokoro, the fastest-drafting engine on the roster and the one the Free plan includes without a meter. A UK-accent draft costs nothing to try.

Imogen portrait
ImogenZonos

Composed British female · plain read

Registered as the composed British female on Zonos. An even, unhurried delivery that suits policy modules, formal explainers, and corporate narration.

Alfie portrait
AlfieZonos

Mellow British male · plain read

Zonos's mellow British male. Relaxed pace, plain read, and a natural fit for guides, walkthroughs, and long help-content passages.

Both engines that carry British voices read plainly by design: Zonos and Kokoro ignore bracketed stage directions, so shape delivery with wording and punctuation rather than [cues]. Previews are pre-rendered clips of real engine output; the same three voices generate live in the studio on any script you type.

Straight answers

British AI voice questions, answered honestly.

Which AI engines have British voices?
Two of our five engines document British voices: Zonos ships Imogen, a composed female read, and Alfie, a mellow male read, alongside its two American voices. Kokoro ships Emma, a soft British female. The other engines do not record a British voice in our registry, so we do not claim one for them.
Can a British AI voice act bracketed [cues] like [whispering]?
Not on this roster. Zonos and Kokoro, the engines carrying the British voices, both read plainly and ignore bracketed directions. Cue-acting is Gemini Flash's trait, and its registry does not document a British voice, so an acted UK read is not something we can honestly offer today.
Is there a free British AI voice?
Yes. Emma runs on Kokoro, the engine the Free plan includes unlimited. Imogen and Alfie run on Zonos, which draws from the premium allowance: about ten minutes a month on the Free plan, more on the flat paid plans, never a per-character meter.
Can I use a British AI voice commercially?
Yes. Everything you export is yours: commercial rights, no watermark, no attribution required. Zonos and Kokoro are both Apache-2.0 open-weight models, so the rights story underneath is as clean as the one we print.
