Voices by character

Female AI voices with the character lines to prove it.

Quinn is the clear American on Zonos, Imogen its composed British counterpart, and Emma the soft British read on Kokoro. Those one-line characters come straight from the engine registry, and the preview on each card is the engine's own output for the same line, replayed unedited.

The studio holds more voices than these three. We list a voice here only when our registry records it as female, which several engines simply do not document, so the gallery is the place to audition the rest of the roster by ear.

The roster

Every female ai voice on file.

Emma · UK portrait
Emma · UKKokoro

Soft British female · plain read

Kokoro's soft British female. The engine drafts faster than anything else we run, which makes Emma the voice to reach for when a course or article needs audio today.

Quinn portrait
QuinnZonos

Clear American female · plain read

The clear American female on Zonos. Clean and even from the first sentence to the last, built for onboarding flows, product walkthroughs, and training narration.

Imogen portrait
ImogenZonos

Composed British female · plain read

The steadier of Zonos's two documented female voices: a composed British read that suits formal scripts where calm carries better than color.

All three voices read plainly: neither Zonos nor Kokoro performs bracketed directions, so a softer or brighter take comes from how you write the line. Each preview replays the engine's own recording, and in the studio the same voices speak whatever you write, live.

Straight answers

Female AI voice questions, answered honestly.

Which female AI voices can I listen to right now?
Three, each with an instant preview on this page: Quinn, the clear American voice on Zonos; Imogen, the composed British voice on Zonos; and Emma, the soft British voice on Kokoro. Every clip is real output from the engine named on the card.
What is the difference between Quinn, Imogen, and Emma?
Accent and temperament, per the registry: Quinn reads clear and American, Imogen composed and British, Emma soft and British. Engine matters too: Emma lives on Kokoro, the fastest-drafting engine here, while Quinn and Imogen live on Zonos, whose strength is steady accent reads.
The studio has more voices. Why are only three listed here?
Because this page only claims what the registry records. Voices like Eve, Ara, Kore, and Harper exist and you can audition all of them in the gallery, but their registry entries describe character rather than gender, and we will not guess from a name.
Is a female AI voice free, and do I own the audio?
Emma is part of the Free plan's unlimited Kokoro engine, and the Zonos voices draw on the free monthly premium allowance of about ten minutes. Whatever you generate is yours to publish commercially, with no watermark.
